Course Overview
This course provides a comprehensive study of the basics of personal finance. We will introduce key terms and applications that will assist the student in future practical, personal financial matters. We will use practical applications through the use of the textbook, as well as various other visual aids. They will see finance from both the perspective of the business world, as well as their own.
Course Requirements
Methods of instruction will include lecture, discussion, guest speakers, and group work. Daily work will include quizzes, notes, discussion, and written assignments. Tests will be announced at least 3 school days before they are given. Other assignments will develop as the year progresses.

Grading
Final grade will be determined by a combination of tests, quizzes, class participation, and other alternative forms of evaluation.
